A substantial glass cladding project covering 8 floors of commercial office space with glass being installed to both IPS panels and cubicle doors and pilasters.The IPS panels were bonded to laminate back boards and were manufactured in 6mm Low Iron Satin glass, toughened and back painted with a specially formulated colour to give the effect of bronze mirror with a satin face. An off the shelf product is available for this effect but cannot be toughened so is not suitable for an application of this type, however working closely with the customer, we managed to formulate and paint that mimicked the effect and could be toughened giving the customer their desired finished look.
The Cubicle doors and pilasters were manufactured in 6mm Low Iron glass, toughened and back painted white and bonded onto laminate doors.
6mm Silver Mirror, polished all round and Foil Backed were fitted to vanity mirrors and walls across all levels.
All cut out outs and apertures were CNC cut for accuracy ensuring that all plumbing and ironmongery products fitted correctly and snugly to give a top-quality look to the finished product.
