One Tower Bridge

A unique installation in the underground car park of this high-quality development of luxury apartments.

We manufactured and installed back painted glass cladding to communal entrances and various walls in the underground carpark. We also manufactured and installed walkway balustrades to each entrance and divider balustrading between all the underground car park automatic stacker lifts.

The entrances and wall in the underground carpark were clad in 6mm low iron, toughened and back painted glass with CNC cut outs for access control and lift control equipment. All the glass was back painted black to complement the contrasting stone tiling fitted around the car park walls.

The walkway and ramp balustrades were constructed using a captive base channel with 21.5mm laminated and toughened glass being installed using a blocking system to allow future replacement with ease should any glass be damaged. Once the glass was installed, we fitted Stainless Steel handrails to finish the installation to the highest standard.

This high-class development had underground automatic car stackers and we were engaged to install balustrade dividers between the stacker mechanisms to provide safety barriers for the users. We constructed these in a heavy-duty captive base channel with 21.5mm laminated and toughened glass with heavy duty handrails fitted to keep the structure stable.
As can be seen from the pictures here this was a stunning development that we were pleased to be involved with.
